Our Mission
The originator of memory care assisted living in Boston, the Mission of Rogerson House is to provide the highest quality professional care for Assisted Living residents – including those in our memory care Respite Stay program – and Day Program participants who need Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, or other memory care support.
At Rogerson House, we see providing the best Boston area Memory Care as our mission, whether people need ongoing Assisted Living, temporary Respite Stays, or a great Social Day Program.
Rogerson House is also committed to helping the family members of our residents and day program participants as they navigate their way through the challenges of how their loved ones’ cognitive issues are impacting their own lives. The programs, staff training, and special design of Rogerson House all focus on maximizing the functional and cognitive abilities of those in our care, all in a positive personalized environment.

Our History
Originally opened as the Boston Alzheimer’s Center in 1997, Rogerson House memory care assisted living was the first community in the Boston area to provide care exclusively to individuals living with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias. Since then, we have expanded our capabilities, today providing care for those with Alzheimer's, Lewy Body Dementia, Mixed Dementia, Korsakoff Syndrome, Huntington's, Parkinson's, or other mental impairments. Part of the Rogerson Communities portfolio of advanced senior care and senior living communities, Rogerson House continues to be recognized as both a pioneer and a leader in the field of dementia and memory care throughout Boston and the New England healthcare community.
